The SUIRG Releases Findings of Field Test Report on C-band Sharing - Satellite and WiMax Spectrum Sharing Not Compatible Report Finds - The Satellite Users Interference Reduction Group (SUIRG) announced today the formal findings of a field test on the compatibility of Fixed Satellite Services (FSS) and WiMAX services sharing the C-band spectrum. The International News Safety Institute (INSI) has developed a list of questions to raise awareness on the Safety of Journalists Resolution adopted by the UN Security Council. While these questions were developed for the UK, members of sister unions can use these as a template to develop questions for their respective national governments, either directly or through their parliamentary contacts.
